Mercury Free Mining Inc. (MFM) is delighted by the groundswell of interest in and support for our mission to eradicate the use of mercury in artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM), ensuring the public trust in the gold supply chain.
Thanks to the support of generous donors like you, Toby Pomeroy, Executive Director of Mercury Free Mining, by invitation from the Ghana National Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners Association (GNASSM), spent 10 days in Ghana last January observing testing of the GOLDROP, an innovative gold separation process. GNASSM found the outcome of the Ghana testing program to be a resounding success.
“We find GOLDROP as a unique opportunity to finally end the use of mercury in gold mining operations in Ghana.”
– Ghana National Artisanal and Small-Scale Miners Association (GNASSM)
In January of 2020, MFM became the recipient of a JCK Industry Fund grant enabling them to launch a vital project for importing gold ore-concentrates from South American ASGM communities. Samples are presently being tested using new gold-ore separating technologies with a goal of finding methods for use by small-scale gold miners enabling them to mine more profitably while eliminating the use of toxic mercury.
Your immediate financial contribution will help MFM eradicate the use of mercury in artisanal and small-scale gold mining!
Thank you for your support. You are the solution!
